Origins and Backstory: I popped a pack of 11 bodhi seeds SoCal Master Kush x Snow Lotus. I got 9/11 to pop as this was my first pack of seeds, ever. Several were eaten by what I can only assume were mice or rats. It was heart-wrenching. However, I ended up with a very stout, very stinky male. I ended up making seeds with that male, which you can read about here. In addition to this male, I also had a female. The female seemed to smell much more refreshing and less spicy in veg. The growth patterns also seemed to be more branched and vertically-oriented. She ended up yielding extremely well and seems to be a lovely balance of genetics. This sample was grown by me personally under 1000W HPS and fed only 100% organic super soil.
Appearance: Large spear and elongated pine-cone type buds packed with frost. Pistils came out a bright orange. Leaves were tinged yellow, purple, and maroon as this plant endured sub-40*F weather for over a week. High bag appeal.
Aroma: Primarily sweet, perfumey, and very feminine and complex. This perfumey flower cures out to a masterpiece of Baskin-Robbins birthday cake, candied fruit, Morroccan hashish, and a number of other-wordly accents. It's easy to imagine this fragrance as a Chanel #5 for high-class aliens. The discriminating nose notes pink lemonade, cedar, cherry cough syrup, orange creamsicle, hashish, cotton candy/bubblegum, play-doh, and strawberries. Ginger bread, granola, yogurt, or something else entirely will occasionally rear its head. The vast bouquet is not limited to these things, but words only grasp at the other depths contained in the aroma. Deep inhalations from a full jar seems to have an immediate therapeutic effect and puts a calm smile on the user. A significant percentage of users exclaim "this is the best weed I've ever smelled." It simply does not smell like weed, but something else entirely. Under blind circumstances, I'd swear the stuff was an extraterrestrial substance as such aromas do not come from earth.
Flavor: The scent carries over well to taste, but some of the subtle, brighter notes are lost with others gained. The flavor is predominantly a mixture of gingerbread/vanilla and a spiciness almost identical to Marrakesh marketplace hash. Other strong notes include intensely sweet and exotic fruitiness that thoroughly entertains. I am generally not a fan of "fruity" strains, but the multiple dimensions of Greedo's Stash seem to change flavor throughout a bowl, and is vastly separated from the generic fruitiness that accompanies so many modern commercial flower samples. I think this would satisfy tropical fruit lovers as well as the "Kush" smokers. Most people end up smacking their tongues or repeatedly tasting their palates.
Effects: Almost as soon as the user exhales, a tingling and mild rushing sensation is felt throughout the body. This is followed with a light-headedness. Not a dizziness, but the user feels almost as if their head is levitating from their torso rather than being supported by their neck. A few anxieties are released, translating to a reduction of muscular tension. Greedo's Stash is much more of a stone than it is a high. While still euphoric, Greedo's has a relatively quick peak effect. Greedo's comes on strongly with a few warped thoughts, and is heavy on the giggles, quickly improving one's sense of humor. This lasts for maybe an hour or two before fading into a deep, mind-numbing stone. It will settle into a behind-the-eyes, lazy, anxiety-free effect. The munchies are strong with this one, as is the need for a nap later.
Overall Experience: Greedo's Stash is an incredibly unique variety of cannabis, which is no surprise coming from Bodhi Seeds. The aroma is incredibly complex and unprecedented; in nearly a decade of cannabis enthusiasm I have never encountered one like it. The female alien perfume translates to a hashy flavor which leaves room for the exotic fruit and spice to shine through as well. Although I would consider Greedo's strong and certainly not lacking in potency, the bouquet and flavor are where she truly shines. The effect is a quick blast of laughter and relaxed euphoria followed by some intense couch-lock. Greedo's makes a lovely nightcap, and is good enough to be ran a few times as well as used for breeding stock.
